Our dreams

For many years Ken and I have dreamed about taking a trip around Australia to see all the wonderful sights our country has to offer. On all our previous holidays we haven't wanted to come back home. We've always said "wouldn't it be good if we could just keep going". Well this time we are. The house is being rented, the van is almost packed and our dreams are about to become reality.

We made our decision to do this around late November 2009. We had been reflecting about Leanne's wedding and what a lovely time that had been for us all as a family. So when we talked about what may lie ahead for us and we began thinking about our future and out of the blue decided now was our time to become Grey Nomads. So plans and preparations are constantly on our minds.

As friends and family were told about these plans we were asked on many occasions if we could include them on our email list. Because I have wanted to keep a diary I thought a blog would solve two issues. Writing a regular diary and keeping up with friends and family.

Thanks to Sharons help we now have our blog up and running. We hope you enjoy our travels.
