orange

Greetings

Just a short post to say we are still in Orange with Mum and Dad. We have had a lovely time so far and up till today the weather has been lovely. Beautifull warm sunny days thus far but that is about to change tomorrow. We are predicted to have temperatures tomorrow of minus 4 through to 8 or 9 degrees. Cold on the fingers and toes.

Today we went for a drive to Macquarrie Woods camp site and surprise, surprise it turns out to be the largest and the best free spot we have ever come across. This site is only about 26klms out of Orange and a couple of klms on a dirt road. At a rough guess the site would span an area of close to 10 acres. There were flushing toilets, tankwater, picnic tables, fire places and we think wood available. Plus there were ponds of water to park beside if you liked to be near water. The ponds had goldfish that were huge, bigger than I've ever seen.

We intend to make our way to Sydney and catch up with Ken's sister and their family members.
